The Poblenou: Bike&Vermouth | 44,95€
Bike&Vermouth tour through one of the coolest quarters in the City! Old factories, street art, design studios and luxury hotels? Welcome to Poblenou!
Barcelona is cool, isn’t it? None of this would have been possible if this neighbourhood had not existed. Seriously: here you can find the factories that fed half of the city during XIX century and nowadays you can find the Forum, where Primavera Sound takes place. Meet Poblenou with us or leave Barcelona without living like a local.
Poblenou has gone from being a wallflower to be one of the cheerleaders. Not so long ago, this neighbourhood was part of the outskirts of the city and it was full of factories, shanties and trade unionists. At that time, the beaches were rubbish tips, but not only of drunken tourists at dawn, but of factory waste.
But there is nothing that cannot be solved with a good makeover: in 1992, the Olympic Games turned the beaches of Poblenou into a walk with magnificent sand, as a version of Venice beach in a Catalan way. And following the coast to the north, in 2004, el Forum de les cultures, always with the support of the hotel lobby, transformed the final stretch of Avenida Diagonal into a neighbourhood of pure luxury. What do we have now? Well, the coolest neighbourhood in town!
A young technological district, where the old factories have become design studios, bars and creative centres that will be happy to meet you. All this peppered with flea markets, incredible graffiti, young people and the sea breeze … what else? Ah, yes, we almost forgot. In Poblenou we also have Razzmatazz. Who is looking for more?
All this increases a lot more when you see it live! Come with us for a walk through one of the coolest neighbourhoods of the city and enjoy its history while we have some drinks in the most authentic places. Alcohol always makes our guide much more interesting … That depends on individual taste!

What are you paying when you book?
Why is this not a free tour? Honestly, we would love to dedicate our lives to teaching our city to people for free, but at the moment we have not won the lottery. That’s why we want to explain you what every penny of what you pay for this tour is:
50% – for the guide – he has to recover their parents’ investment in university enrolment!
21% – these are government fees, so that they do not only waste our money but also yours.
28% – For Stemaki to be able to continue paying workers’ social security and drinks for the team from time to time.
1% – In order to continue playing the lottery.
