Fundació Joan Miró

Born in 1975, the Joan Miró Foundation was created by the same artist with the intention to establish a “Mironian” area in Barcelona with international reference and to promote Miró and contemporary art studies. The Foundation combines the organization of temporary exhibitions of the XX and XXI century artists with academic activities and projects in collaboration with other institutions and entities in the country.
