Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC)

The National Museum of Catalan Art (MNAC) is located in the National Palace of Montjuic, built for the International Exhibition of 1929. Nowadays, you will find the best collection of Romanic paint mural in the world and the most representative artists of Catalan Modernism as Gaudí or Casas. You can also enjoy Gothic art, great European painters of the Renaissance and Baroque as Tiziano or Velazquez, and big photography collections.

Schedule*:

Winter:
From October to April, Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm;
Sundays and holidays from 10am to 3pm h.
Summer:
From May to September, Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 8pm;
Sundays and holidays from 10am to 3pm.
Closed on Mondays, except holidays.
Annual closure: January 1st, May 1st and 25th December.

General admission: 12 € (valid for two days during one month from the date of purchase).
Terraces: 2 €
